Blogtober Day 25 - My Favourite Reading Snacks

There is nothing better than snuggling down to read with a cuppie, a cosy blanket and your favourite snacks. I have a couple of different things I like to eat while I’m reading or working on something, and I thought I would share my favourites with you.

Giant Wotsits

I freaking love wotsits so imaging my delight when I discovered GIANT wotsits! I think they are like Cheetos but I’m not 100% sure. They can be quite messy so it’s good to have something to wipe your hands on. I know a woman that eats cheesy crisps while she is cross-stitching and uses chopsticks to eat them to keep her Aida clean.

Nuts

Nuts of any kind are good. Peanuts, Pistachios, Cashews, all good! My favourite is probably dry-roasted peanuts though. A big handful of them can be very satisfying while I’m lost in a book. Plus, nuts are a really good, healthy snack.

Malteasers

Surprisingly the only chocolate on this list. A yummy, crunchy bag of malteasers is lovely with a nice hot cup of tea. I love the cripsy bit in the middle that just melts on your tongue. My only issue with malteasers is, if you eat them before your cuppie, it’s makes your tea taste funny because you can’t taste the sugar in it……that might judt be me though.

Lightly Salted Doritos

I’ve noticed that most of the snacks on this list are salty or savoury. Like all the snacks on this list, I love the crunch of Doritos. Sometimes I have it with spicy salsa and it’s a whole other level of tasty! Add a lovely cold can of Pepsi and I’m in heaven.

Fruit

See?! It’s not all junk food! Occasionally, I enjoy a little fruit platter to pick at. Apples and grapes are always my go-to for breakfast. Once in a while, I will throw an orange in as well but they can be too much work sometimes. Something nice, fresh and juicy is always good when you are chilling out.

What are some of your favourite reading snacks?

Love Always

Debbi xx
