Book 9 of 2021 - "Where the Dead Walk" by John Bowen

After investigating a neglected cliff-top house that is reportedly haunted, paranormal investigator Kate Bennett is convinced the spirit trapped inside holds answers to her forgotten past and a unimaginable crime.
I don't know how I feel about this book. It was very much a slow burn and for the vast majority of it I was thoroughly unimpressed but the last 50 pages or so turned it on its head! There was so much I disliked about the book and complained bitterly about (sorry James) but then the ending left me a bit...confused about the whole thing. The best way I can describe my feelings is...its like being on hold for an hour then getting through and the conversation taking 2 minutes to sort to problem.
